Devotees Throng to Visit the 12 Jyotirlingas at Punyalingeswara Swamy Temple on Ugadi

The Sri Punyalingeswara Swamy shrine in Uppala a unique sanctuary where all twelve of the nation's Jyotirlingas are enshrined in a single location bustled with devotees on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi.

Shiva, the Bestower of Prosperity, the Remover of Worldly Bondage, the Source of Existence, the Destroyer of Evil, the Harbinger of Good Fortune, the Giver of Victory, the Vanquisher of Demons, the Benevolent One, and the One Subservient to His Devotees He who sustains the Earth is Punyalingeswara. Om Namah Shivaya... Om Namah Shivaya... Salutations, again and again, to Punyalingeswara.

On the occasion of Ugadi the traditional festival of the Telugu people devotees flocked to the shrine to seek the blessings of Sri Jayasiddhi Ganapati, the Dwadasha Jyotirlingas (Twelve Jyotirlingas), Sri Punyalingeswara Swamy, and Sri Manikyamamba Devi, thereby becoming recipients of the grace of all deities.

With sacred ash (Vibhuti) adorning their foreheads, chanting "Hara Hom, Hara Hom," and blowing conch shells while chanting "Shiva Hom, Shiva Hom," the devotees performed devotional hymns amidst the resonant pealing of temple bells.

They visited the Kapila Goshala (cow shelter) situated in front of the temple, offered food to the cows, and received the blessings of Gomata (Mother Cow).

On this Ugadi festival day, devotees visited the Dwadasha Jyotirlingas and Sri Punyalingeswara Swamy enshrined in the rear section of the Shiva temple and performed Jalabhishekams (ritual ablutions with water).

Standing as a symbol of social spirit and an embodiment of equality, this sacred shrine fostered a profound sense of spiritual awakening among the devotees. Punyalingeswara is the Enlightened One who severs the bonds of our karma, transforms the path of our life, and grants us a rebirth within this very lifetime.

He is the Compassionate One who showers blessings even unasked; the Ancient of Ancients, the Perfection of Perfection that very Punyalingeswara.

దేశంలోని 12 జ్యోతిర్లింగాలు ఒకే చోట వెలసిన ఉప్పలలోని శ్రీ పుణ్యలింగేశ్వర స్వామి క్షేత్రం, ఉగాది పర్వదినాన్ని పురస్కరించుకొని భక్తులతో కిటకిటలాడింది।

శివుడు, శ్రీకరుడు, భవహరుడు, భవుడు, హరుడు, శుభకరుడు, జయకరుడు, మురహరుడు, శంకరుడు, భక్తవశంకరుడు పుడమిని ధరించువాడు పుణ్యలింగేశ్వరుడు। ఓం నమఃశివాయ… ఓం నమఃశివాయ… నమో నమః పుణ్యలింగేశ్వరాయ।

తెలుగువారి సాంప్రదాయ పండుగ అయిన ఉగాది సందర్భంగా విచ్చేసిన భక్తులు, శ్రీ జయసిద్ధి గణపతిని, ద్వాదశ జ్యోతిర్లింగాలను, శ్రీ పుణ్యలింగేశ్వర స్వామిని, శ్రీ మాణిక్యాంబా దేవిని దర్శించుకొని సకల దేవతల అనుగ్రహానికి పాత్రులయ్యారు।

“హర హోం హర హోం” అంటూ నుదుటిపై విభూది ధరించి, “శివ హోం శివ హోం” అంటూ శంఖనాదాలు చేస్తూ, గణగణ మ్రోగే గంటల మధ్య భజనలు నిర్వహించారు।

ఆలయం ఎదుట ఉన్న కపిల గోశాలను సందర్శించి, గోవులకు ఆహారం అందించి గోమాత ఆశీస్సులు పొందారు।

ఉగాది పర్వదినాన శివాలయం వెనుక భాగంలో ఉన్న ద్వాదశ జ్యోతిర్లింగాలను, శ్రీ పుణ్యలింగేశ్వర స్వామిని దర్శించి జలాభిషేకాలు చేశారు।

సామాజిక స్ఫూర్తికి ప్రతీకగా, సమతకు సాకారంగా నిలిచిన ఈ క్షేత్రం భక్తులలో ఆధ్యాత్మిక చైతన్యాన్ని పెంపొందించింది। మన కర్మల బంధాలను తొలగించి, జీవన మార్గాన్ని మార్చి, ఈ జన్మలోనే మరో జన్మనిచ్చే చైతన్యుడు పుణ్యలింగేశ్వరుడు।

కోరకనే వరాలు కురిపించే కృపాకరుడు, పూర్వానికి పూర్వుడు, పూర్ణానికి పూర్ణుడు ఆ పుణ్యలింగేశ్వరుడు।

उप्पला में स्थित श्री पुण्यलिंगेश्वर स्वामी मंदिर एक ऐसा अनोखा पवित्र स्थल जहाँ देश के सभी बारह ज्योतिर्लिंग एक ही स्थान पर विराजमान हैं उगादी के शुभ अवसर पर भक्तों की भीड़ से खचाखच भरा रहा।

शिव समृद्धि के दाता, सांसारिक बंधनों को हरने वाले, अस्तित्व के स्रोत, बुराई का नाश करने वाले, सौभाग्य के अग्रदूत, विजय प्रदान करने वाले, राक्षसों को पराजित करने वाले, परम कृपालु, और अपने भक्तों के प्रति पूर्णतः समर्पित वही जो इस पृथ्वी का पालन-पोषण करते हैं, वे ही पुण्यलिंगेश्वर हैं। ॐ नमः शिवाय... ॐ नमः शिवाय... पुण्यलिंगेश्वर को बारंबार नमन।

उगादी के अवसर पर जो तेलुगु भाषी लोगों का एक पारंपरिक पर्व है भक्तगण श्री जयसिद्धि गणपति, द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिंगों (बारह ज्योतिर्लिंगों), श्री पुण्यलिंगेश्वर स्वामी, और श्री माणिक्याम्बा देवी का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने के लिए मंदिर में उमड़ पड़े; इस प्रकार वे सभी देवी-देवताओं की कृपा के पात्र बने।

अपने ललाट पर पवित्र भस्म (विभूति) धारण किए हुए, "हर होम, हर होम" का जाप करते हुए, और "शिव होम, शिव होम" का उच्चारण करते हुए शंखनाद करते हुए, भक्तों ने मंदिर की घंटियों की गूंज के बीच भक्तिपूर्ण भजनों का गायन किया।

उन्होंने मंदिर के ठीक सामने स्थित कपिला गौशाला (गौशाला) का दर्शन किया, गौमाता को चारा खिलाया, और गौमाता (गाय रूपी माँ) का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया।

उगादी पर्व के इस पावन दिवस पर, भक्तों ने द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिंगों और श्री पुण्यलिंगेश्वर स्वामी जो शिव मंदिर के पिछले भाग में विराजमान हैं के दर्शन किए और जलाभिषेक (जल द्वारा किया जाने वाला पवित्र स्नान) संपन्न किया।

सामाजिक सद्भाव के प्रतीक और समानता के साक्षात् स्वरूप के रूप में प्रतिष्ठित, इस पवित्र मंदिर ने भक्तों के हृदय में आध्यात्मिक जागरण की एक गहरी अनुभूति जागृत की। पुण्यलिंगेश्वर वे परम प्रबुद्ध सत्ता हैं जो हमारे कर्मों के बंधनों को काटते हैं, हमारे जीवन की दिशा को रूपांतरित करते हैं, और हमें इसी जीवनकाल में एक नवीन जन्म (पुनर्जन्म) प्रदान करते हैं।

वे ही वे परम कृपालु हैं जो बिना मांगे ही अपनी कृपा दृष्टि और आशीर्वाद की वर्षा करते हैं; प्राचीनतमों के भी प्राचीन, पूर्णताओं की भी पूर्णता वही पुन्यालिंगेश्वर।
