The Monthly Celestial Wedding of Sri Punyalingeswara, accompanied by Goddess Manikyamamba

On the auspicious occasion of Masa Shivaratri, the divine celestial wedding (Kalyanam) of Lord Punyalingeswara Swamy and the Goddess was celebrated with great pomp, grandeur, and visual splendor at the Sri Punyalingeswara Swamy shrine. As part of these festivities, we first performed a special Puja (worship) to the Great Lord Ganesha the Remover of Obstacles to ensure that all proceedings would unfold without any impediments.

Subsequently, the Swasti Punyahavachanam ritual was conducted to purify all the worship materials brought for the ceremony, as well as to sanctify the Mandapam (ceremonial pavilion). Following this, the sacred ceremony of tying the Kankanam (holy wrist bands) was performed for both the Lord and the Goddess.

As is the custom within the wedding rituals where Lord Ganapati, the Remover of Obstacles, is worshipped before the commencement of any new undertaking we duly performed the Ganapati Puja. This ritual was specifically conducted to ensure that the entire ceremony proceeded smoothly, free from any unforeseen hindrances.

Furthermore, since the various worship materials present in the Mandapam had been sourced from different regions, they underwent a purification process before being utilized in the Puja. To achieve this, the Swasti Punyahavachanam ritual was performed; by sprinkling the sanctified holy water upon these materials, they were rendered pure and sacred.

Thus, all the worship materials that had undergone this purification process were subsequently utilized in the Puja. As the wedding ceremony progressed, the Ganapati Puja was successfully completed, followed by the conclusion of the site purification rituals.

Finally, the Lord and the Goddess represented in their sacred idol forms were ceremonially invited to the wedding altar. As a symbolic act of spiritual resolve and dedication toward the day's proceedings, the sacred Kankanam (holy wrist bands) were then tied to the wrists of both the Lord and the Goddess.

మాస శివరాత్రి సందర్భంగా శ్రీ పుణ్యలింగేశ్వర స్వామి క్షేత్రంలో అంగరంగ వైభవంగా, కన్నుల పండుగగా, రమణీయంగా స్వామివారు అమ్మవారి కళ్యాణం దివ్య వైభవంగా జరిగింది. ఇందులో భాగంగా, ముందుగా సకల కార్యాలు నిర్విఘ్నంగా కొనసాగాలని మహాగణాధిపతికి పూజ నిర్వహించాము.

తదుపరి, తెచ్చిన సమస్త పూజా సామాగ్రి శుద్ధి కోసం, మండప శుద్ధి కోసం స్వస్తి పుణ్యాహవాచనం నిర్వహించాము. అనంతరం స్వామివారికి, అమ్మవారికి కంకణధారణ మహోత్సవం నిర్వహించబడింది.

కళ్యాణంలో భాగంగా, ఏ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభించేముందు విజ్ఞాలను తొలగించే గణపతి స్వామిని పూజించడం ఆచారం కావడంతో, విధిగా గణపతి పూజ నిర్వహించాము. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఎటువంటి విజ్ఞాలు కలగకుండా ఉండేందుకు గణపతి పూజ చేయడం జరిగింది.

తదుపరి, మండపంలో ఉన్న పూజా ద్రవ్యాలన్నీ వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుండి తీసుకువచ్చినవి కావున, వాటిని పూజలో వినియోగించడానికి ముందు శుద్ధి చేయడం జరిగింది. అందుకోసం స్వస్తి పుణ్యాహవాచనం నిర్వహించి, ఆ పవిత్ర జలాన్ని ఆ ద్రవ్యాలపై ప్రోక్షణం చేయడం ద్వారా అవన్నీ పవిత్రంగా మారాయి.

ఈ విధంగా శుద్ధి చేసిన పూజా సామాగ్రి మొత్తం పూజలో వినియోగించబడింది. కళ్యాణంలో భాగంగా, గణపతి పూజ పూర్తయ్యి, అనంతరం స్థల శుద్ధి కార్యక్రమం కూడా పూర్తయింది.

తరువాత స్వామివారిని, అమ్మవారిని కళ్యాణ వేదికపై విగ్రహరూపంలో ఆహ్వానించి, ఆ రోజు నిర్వహించిన కార్యక్రమానికి దీక్షారూపంగా వారిద్దరికీ కంకణధారణ చేయబడింది.

मास शिवरात्रि के शुभ अवसर पर, श्री पुण्यलिंगेश्वर स्वामी मंदिर में भगवान पुण्यलिंगेश्वर स्वामी और देवी का दिव्य विवाह (कल्याणम) बड़े ही धूमधाम, भव्यता और अद्भुत शोभा के साथ मनाया गया। इन उत्सवों के एक भाग के रूप में, हमने सबसे पहले विघ्नहर्ता भगवान गणेश की विशेष पूजा (आराधना) की, ताकि यह सुनिश्चित हो सके कि सभी कार्यक्रम बिना किसी बाधा के संपन्न हों।

इसके बाद, समारोह के लिए लाई गई सभी पूजा सामग्रियों को शुद्ध करने के लिए, तथा स्वयं मंडपम (समारोह स्थल) को पवित्र करने के लिए स्वस्ति पुण्याहवाचनम अनुष्ठान संपन्न किया गया। इसके उपरांत, भगवान और देवी दोनों के लिए कंकणम (पवित्र रक्षा सूत्र) बांधने का पवित्र अनुष्ठान किया गया।

चूँकि किसी भी अनुष्ठान को प्रारंभ करने से पूर्व विघ्नहर्ता भगवान गणपति की पूजा करने की परंपरा है, अतः इस दिव्य विवाह समारोह के एक अभिन्न अंग के रूप में विधिवत गणपति पूजा संपन्न की गई। भगवान गणपति की यह आराधना विशेष रूप से इसलिए की गई थी, ताकि यह सुनिश्चित हो सके कि संपूर्ण कार्यक्रम सुचारू रूप से और किसी भी अप्रत्याशित बाधा से मुक्त होकर संपन्न हो।

इसके अतिरिक्त, चूंकि मंडपम में उपस्थित विभिन्न पूजा सामग्रियाँ अलग अलग स्थानों से एकत्रित की गई थीं, अतः अनुष्ठानों में उपयोग किए जाने से पूर्व उन्हें शुद्धिकरण की प्रक्रिया से गुजारा गया। इसे संपन्न करने हेतु स्वस्ति पुण्याहवाचनम किया गया; इन सामग्रियों पर पवित्र जल का छिड़काव करके उन्हें शुद्ध और पावन बनाया गया।

इस प्रकार, शुद्धिकरण की इस प्रक्रिया से गुजरी हुई सभी पूजा सामग्रियों का उपयोग संपूर्ण समारोह के दौरान किया गया। जैसे जैसे दिव्य विवाह के अनुष्ठान आगे बढ़े, गणपति पूजा सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुई, जिसके पश्चात स्थल शुद्धिकरण का अनुष्ठान भी पूर्ण हुआ।

अंत में, भगवान और देवी जो अपनी पवित्र प्रतिमाओं के रूप में उपस्थित थे को औपचारिक रूप से विवाह वेदी पर आमंत्रित किया गया; वहाँ, उस दिवस के पवित्र अनुष्ठानों के प्रति आध्यात्मिक संकल्प और समर्पण के एक प्रतीकात्मक कृत्य के रूप में, उस दिव्य युगल के लिए कंकणम (पवित्र रक्षा सूत्र) बांधने का अनुष्ठान संपन्न किया गया।
